The following programs are presently going on
I. School of Theology RTC offers University-conferred degrees, Bachelor of Theology and B.A. Honours (Theology) in terms of its affiliation with the Potchefstroom University for Christian Higher Education (PUCHE), one of the world's famous Christian Universities in South Africa.
Bachelor of Arts Honors (Theology)is a one year post graduate course and the degree is offered by Potchefstroom University for Christian Higher Education. This course serves as a bridge for the M.A. (Theology) course. With a B.A. Honors in your possession, you may easily do your M.A. in one year. The course may be taken in one year (full time) or up to three years (part time). Classes will be on weekend for active ministers. This degree is open to holders of the B.A. or its equivalent.
This degree program is designed to equip our students who qualify for university courses for ministry in the pastorate, missions and other Christian ministries. Bachelor of Theology degree is offered by the Potchefstroom University for Christian Higher Education and may serve as a basis for further postgraduate studies (B. A. Honors, M.A. Ph.D, etc). This course requires three full years. The applicant must have passed an 'A' level Certificate (with at least two principles) or its equivalent.
This course is equivalent to Bachelor of Theology and offers the same subjects as B.Th. for men and women seeking a comprehensive general theological education for the fruitful Christian ministry at school, church, university and work. It requires three full years and successful graduates may also be admitted into further postgraduate courses, such as a B. A. Honors (Theology) degree of Potchefstroom University. The applicant must have passed an 'A' level Certificate (with at least two principles) or its equivalent.
This course is designed for ministers who want to have basic theological education and foundational ministerial training. It requires two full years. The applicant must have passed an 'O' level Certificate or its equivalent
II. School of Early Childhood Edaucation
Aims of the Program are to prepare students to work in a variety of early childhood educational institutions and related ministries such as day-care centres, nursery/ kindergarten; Sunday school, home, missions, etc; to integrate Christian values and ethic in the educational setting.
For the Diploma in Early Childhood Education, the applicants must have passed 'A' level, or its equivalent; it requires two years. For the Certificate in Early Childhood Education, the applicants must have passed 'O'level and it requires one year study.
III. School of Music
Aims of the Program are to prepare students to work in a variety of Christian Music ministries; to teach basic music theory and skills of playing musical instruments such as the guitar, piano, keyboard, etc: to integrate Christian values of worship and praises in the musical setting.; to raise spirit-filled worship leaders for the church and mission ministries.
