(a)  Commitment to biblical and evangelical faith. we maintain a firm stand on the central truths of orthodox, evangelical theology including authority and inspiration of scripture, the trinity, etc.

(b)  Intensive spiritual development disciplines. RTC seeks to integrate theological studies and spiritual disciplines and instill into students the vision of reforming life and society through dynamic Christian ministries. Students take part in various spiritual disciplines such as early morning devotion, personal prayer, group bible study, personal and open air evangelism, fasting, spiritual retreat and conference, etc, in order to cultivate strong quality of spirituality and godly character within themselves.

(c) Academic excellence and qualified International lecturers.  We aim at maintaining university standard in our education and equipping students with outstanding academic perspectives and methods to deal with the various situations and issues that will arise in their ministry.

(d) Contemporary textbooks and sufficient reference books.  We have facilitated up to date textbooks on Bible and theology that each student will use in the course; and sufficient reference materials are stocked for fairly efficient research work.

(e) Missionary vision and intercessory prayer.  We are committed specifically to the vision of the great commission and the task of evangelizing unreached peoples. We purpose to mobilize, equip and raise dedicated men and women to share the gospel throughout the world.

(f) Warm Christian community atmosphere. We aim at setting up a uniquely intimate Christian fellowship among the members of the school including students and staffs, through various forms of spiritual fellowship and brotherly cooperation; this provides the students with a living example of a Christian community ministry.

(g) Interdenominational diversity and unity. We are firmly committed to maintain an interdenominational character in our student body, faculty and Board, united by a common faith; and to promote a spirit of sound unity and cooperation among the general body of Christ.
